What to Provide Main Property Management
Here are some important things to do when coming across to Main Property Management Perth
Redirect your mail:
If its your home address you are moving from and turning into a rental then make sure to redirect your mail to your new address to avoid missing any important mail.
Notify utilities:
Cancel all utility accounts such as electricity, gas, and phone and inform them of your move.
Only keep the water and council rates in your name and redirect them to your new address.
Provide appliance manuals:
Hand over any appliance manuals to your property manager or leave them in the kitchen drawer for us.
Provide keys:
Its good to check that all locks have keys and supply two full sets of keys, one for the office and one for the tenant.
Check smoke alarms and RCDs:
Ensure your property is compliant with the Building Regulations 2012 by checking your smoke alarms and Residual Currency Devices (RCDs). For further information, visit http://www.dfes.wa.gov.au/ or speak with one of our staff members.
We can organise a check if you are unsure on smoke detectors and RCDs
Meet minimum security requirements:
Make sure your property meets the minimum security requirements as outlined in the Residential Tenancies Regulations 1989. Speak with our staff for further information.
We’ll let you know exactly what we need when you come over to Main Property Management.
